Pokémon card buying from collectors

Sell Pokémon cards: a no-obligation offer before you ship

When you sell Pokémon cards through CardBuyer.eu, you receive a personal offer first and only then decide whether and what to send. We buy single cards and whole lists, assess every card individually, and pay only after inspection on arrival.

What stays in your hands

You stay in control at every step, from your list to your payment.

  • A personal offer before you ship a single card
  • A decision card by card: accept, counter, or decline
  • Free DHL shipping, insured when correctly packaged, once you have agreed

How the process works

You add your cards to a list by set, collector number, language, and quantity, and give only your email address. You do not need photos. We then review the list and send you a personal offer.

You decide for each card whether to accept, counter, or decline. Because card prices move daily, every offer is valid for 48 hours from the moment it is sent; if it expires, we prepare a new one. Only after you agree do you receive a prepaid DHL label. After we inspect your cards, we pay within five business days.

What we buy

We buy Pokémon single cards in our supported languages (including German, English, and French) and in all seven conditions from MT to PO, including all editions and finishes such as Reverse Holo, 1st Edition, Illustration Rare, or Full Art. There is no minimum number of cards. We buy Japanese cards as well, but not through this online form. Email us at hello@cardbuyer.eu for those.

Your total offer should reach at least €50. Through the online form you can submit cards worth up to €2,500; for larger collections, please contact us directly. We do not buy individual cards with a reference value below €0.20.

How your price is determined

When you submit your list, we use the Cardmarket trend and the lowest current listings in the language of your card, never an old, stored price. We work without a fixed buying percentage. It would simply be wrong for some cards.

A collector then assesses variant, condition, demand, and realistic resale prospects before your offer reaches you.

Shipping, inspection, and payment

As soon as you accept at least one card, you receive a prepaid DHL label. Shipping to us costs you nothing, and your shipment is insured up to €25,000 when packaged correctly according to our instructions. We inspect every card on arrival; if it matches your description, the price stands.

Completed purchases are paid by bank transfer or PayPal within five business days, once every card in your shipment has been resolved. Who legally buys your cards is shown with full name and address in your offer.

Two past purchases

Instead of a blanket percentage, here are two purchases and how they actually went:

  • Florian · around 200 cards · €350: in person, paid immediately
  • Kai · 46 cards · €360: through CardBuyer.eu, shipping label in under two hours, inspection and payment within two days of arrival
